New project, calling same old RFC but using ARFC2 instead of ARFC. Destinations are all resolved, no errors are being raised, but the backend function module is not receiving my input parameters, even when I hard code them. Returns the BAPIRET2 error structure with a polite message asking me to "PLEASE ENTER EITHER PERNR OR USER ID". I can confirm that I am populating the model input node with values on my end, but they don't seem to travel well.
I think there is some fundamental change in the way we populate the RFC fields that I have missed somewhere along the line, my suspicion is that it has to do with the Model and ModelObject. I probably read it somewhere long ago, and now I can't seem to find a reference to this particular snag.
Please help me see the solution which is probably right in front of me. It is so frustrating to make it past the 'hard parts', getting my destinations configured, resolving the dreaded typed model execution errors and jCO configuration errors, to be stalled by something that is probably simple language syntax.
